Illinois College Assistance Program for Recycling (I-CAP)

Section 20/3.1 of the Illinois Solid Waste Management Act (415 ILCS 20/1 et. seq.) mandates that all Illinois state funded colleges and universities participate in a waste reduction planning process. Original plans were due in 1995 and must be updated every five years. Accordingly, the 2010 updates are due no later than 5 pm, January 4, 2010.
